Cause Of Cervical Cancer
One cause of cervical cancer is HPV, which in the early stages is treated with cryotherapy, or also if a genital wart is present.
It is also the source from which dysplastic cells, or abnormal cells form in the cervix. The HPV virus is a skin virus, which results in warts, common warts, flat warts, genital warts, and plantar warts. HPV is the number one reason for abnormal cells of the cervix.

Condoms offer little to no protection against HPV infection, as it is a simple skin-to-skin transmitted virus. Multiple sexual partners have long been the reason behind contracting the sexually transmitted strains of the HPV virus; however, it only takes contact with one infected partner to contract the virus.
