Risk factors are: obesity (suggests a 10-fold increase in risk if an individual is more than 50 lbs heavier than the ideal weight), nulliparity, a late menopause, some drugs (tamoxifen, oral contraceptives), family history, and phenotype characteristics. The symptom is abnormal bleeding that leads to evaluation of the endometrium. Cervical adenocarcinoma may be treated using cryotherapy or a cone biopsy.
