Cervical Cancer Screening
Cervical cancer screening is necessary, and if dysplasia is present cryotherapy will be performed to help decrease infertility issues.
After the age of 30 a combination Pap smear and HPV test should be performed. Early detection is key. It is important to have your annual exam to detect any symptoms of future cancerous tissue or cells. Testing for cancerous cells of the cervix is done through a Pap smear.

However since they carry the virus, they are still susceptible to other strains. Once this immunity is achieved, then they cannot be reinfected, nor transmit this particular strain.
