Cervical Cancer HPV
In cervical cancer, hpv is a virus that generates abnormal cell growth and subsequent cervical cancer precursors such as condyloma.
The vaccine is not a cure; it is a preventative measure. It is not geared toward those whom are already infected with the virus that causes dysplastic cells of the cervix. Only a certain percentage of those infected can clear the virus, and it takes 9-18 months on average.
