Leep Cervical
A leep cervical procedure is performed to remove the disorders caused by human papilloma virus, such as ASCUS, dysplasia, warts, etc.
It is performed with a thin wire loop carrying an electrical current. After a Pap smear test and colposcopy procedure have detected the presence of abnormal cells in the cervix, this procedure may be necessary to remove the abnormal cells.
