Leep Surgery
One option is leep surgery for treatment of an HPV lesion with vaginitis symptoms or cone biopsy is another.
To remove the lesions many doctors perform a loop electrosurgical excision procedure. During this procedure an electric wire is used to cut away the lesion and normal cells should return during healing, but if HPV is still present some abnormal cells may come back.

HPV infects the cells of the transformation zone of the cervix. The transformation zone is the area of cervical tissue where the cells actively divide and grow. When the virus infects the cells and then becomes active, abnormal cells begin to be produced in the transformation zone and a lesion develops. One option is leep surgery for treatment of an HPV lesion with vaginitis symptoms or cone biopsy is another.
